INTERCAMBIO DE ADORNOS CON MULTIPLES DIJES


I just participate in a swapp of Chunky Charms. My partner told me she likes black and white so I decide to make it in those colors and as I love angels, I put the all the angels charms that I found.


Acabo de participar en un intercambio de adornos con multiples dijes. Mi compañera me dijo que le gustaban el negro y el blanco, asi que decidi hacerlo con esos colores y como a mi me encantan los angeles, le puse todos los dijes en forma de angel que encontre.

And this is the charm that I got. I'm thinking it will look great in one of my bags. Thank you Connie Nanfito.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR.

La primavera esta en el aire.

Well, I'm not sure, the calendar says: "spring time" but the weather says: cold and snow. Any way I think is time for pastel colors and some bunnies.  These are some of the things that I made for my home.


Bueno, no estoy muy segura, aunque el calendario marca "Primavera" el clima dice: frio y nieve. De cualquier manera creo que es el momento de sacar  los colores pastel y uno que otro conejito. Estas son algunas de las cosas que hice para decorar mi casa.

In this crown, I put some flowers and butterflies to make it more festive.

En esta corona puse unas flores y unas mariposas para que se viera más festiva.



These two garlands, are especially for Easter dinner.

Estas dos girnaldas son especiales para la cena del dia de Pascua.

This will be the welcome sign during spring.

Esta será la señal de bienvenida durante la primavera.

And in these little boxes I will hide some of the Easter eggs.

Y en estas pequeñas cajas, esconderé algunos de los huevitos de pascua.

I hope you can find some inspiration to color your spring.

12TH DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

12o Dia antes de Navidad.

Finally is the 12th day of Christmas and with this cold water here in New York, I didn't find a best way to end this post with my recipe of Hot Chocolate mix.

Finalmente es el 12 º día antes de Navidad y con este frío aquí en Nueva York, no encontre una mejor manera de terminar estas publicaciones, que con mi receta de chocolate caliente.

You will need:

2 Cups powdered milk
1 Cup of sugar or splenda
1 Cup cocoa powder
1 Small box of instant chocolate pudding
4 Tsp of instant coffee
1 Tsp ground cinnamon

Mix everything in a bowl.


Necesitaras:

2 Tazas de leche en polvo
1 Taza de azucar o splenda
1 Taza de cocoa en polvo
1 Paquete pequeño de puddin de chocolate
4 Cucharadas de cafe instantaneo
1 Cucharada de canela en polvo.

Mezcla todo en un recipiente.

Put the mix in a jar and decorate it.

Pon la mezcla en un frasco y decoralo.

I think is a nice gift for everybody.

Creo que es un buen regalo para cualquiera.

11th DAY OF CHRISTMAS

11o dia antes de Navidad

For today I make something cute, but super easy.  You can use it to decorate your house or your gifts.

Para hoy hice algo muy tierno pero super facil.  Lo puedes usar para decorar tu casa o tus regalos.



You will need:

2 Pom poms
Beads
Ribbon
A piece of felt.


Necesitaras:

2 Pom pones
Cuentas
Liston
Un trozo de fieltro.

Glue the beats in the pom poms to create the features of the snow men. Use the felt for the nose.

Pega las cuentas para crear las facciones del muñeco de nieve. Usa el fieltro para la nariz.

Glue the 2 pom poms and use the ribbon to create the scarf. Your snowmen is ready.

Pega los 2 pom pones y usa el liston para hacer la bufanda.  Tu muñeco de nieve esta listo.



10th DAY OF CHRISTMAS

10o. Dia antes de Navidad

For today I want to share something that my friend Vickie Sia Jones show me how to make and I really like it. you can put it in your Christmas tree with a little present inside.

Para hoy quiero compartir algo que me enseño a hacer mi amiga Vickie Sia Jones y que realmente me encanto. puedes ponerlo en el arbol de Navidad con un pequeño regalo adentro.

You will need:

6 x 6" piece of paper.
1 embellishment (optional)
Ribbon to put it in the tree.

Necesitaras:

Una pieza de papel de 6 x 6 "
Un adorno (opcional)
liston para ponerlo en el arbol.

Fold the paper in half as shown.

Dobla el papel a la mitad como se muestra.

Then fold one point to 1/3 of the opposite side.

Luego doble una punta la altura de 1/3 del lado opuesto.

Repeat the same fold in the other side.

Repite el mismo doblez del otro lado.

Then fold one of the triangular pieces of the top to the botton.

Luego dobla una de las piezas triangulares para abajo.

Now that you know that all the folds are ok, glue them and put the embellishement in the front.

Ahora que ya sabes que todos los bobleces coinsiden pegalos y pon el adorno en la parte de enfrente.

The last thing to do, is to put the ribbon and is done.

La ultima cosa por hacer es poner el liston y esta listo.

9TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS

9o Dia antes de Navidad

I was invited to a trim tree party and all the guests need to bring a handmade shabby chic ornament for the Christmas tree, so I'm going to share with you what I made.


Me invitaron a una fiesta para adornar un arbol de Navidad y cada invitada tenia que llevar un adorno navideño estilo shabby chic.  Les voy a compartir lo que hice.

 You will need:

Match box (you can see my toturial from November)
A bow
Lace
Flowers ( I made mine with the Martha Stewart Clay)
Needle and thread

Necesitaras:

Caja de cerrillos ( puedes ver mis intrucciones de Noviembre)
Un moño
Encaje
Flores (Yo hice las mias con la pasta de Martha Stewart)
Aguja e hilo

With the lace make a rossete.

Con el encaje haz un roseton.

Then glue the flowers.

Luego pega las flores.

Now glue it to the box.

Ahora pegalo a la caja.

 

I also put a little butterfly.

Tambien le puse una maripocita.



I repeat the steps for the rosette to make a pin for the hostess.

Repeti los pasos para el resoton e hice un prendedor para la anfitriona.

Then I put a bow and is ready to put it on the tree.

Luego puse un moño y esta listo para ponerse en el arbol.

8th DAY OF CHRISTMAS

8vo Dia antes de Navidad

For today I use one of my favorites  bowls, I normally use it to prepare my 7 layer salad or some  dessert, but I think it is the perfect base for this Christmas arrangement.

Para el día de hoy, use uno de mis recipientes preferido, por lo general lo utilizo para hacer mi ensalada de 7 capas o algún postre, pero creo que es la base perfecta para este arreglo Navideño.



You will need:

A base
Plastic pine branches
Christmas ornaments


Necesitaras:

Una base
Ramas de pino plasticas
Adornos navideños

Put the pine branches in the base as shown.

Pon las ramas de pino en el recipiente como se muestra.

Then some of the ornates, always looking for a decorative touch.

Luego algunos de los adornos, siempre buscando poner un toque decorativo.

Finish it with the Christmas balls at the top.  Is ready!

Finaliza con las esferas en la parte superior.  Esta terminado!.
