I want to share with you the box card that I just made, As a part of the Scrapadabadoo Crafts group in Facebook, we have the opportunity to participate in a weekly challenge, I picked to make mine, using the last row, and this is the result.

Quiero compartirles la tarjeta/caja que acabo de hacer. Como parte del grupo Scrapadabadoo Crafts, en Facebook, tenemos la oportunidad de tomar un desafío cada semana, yo escogí hacer el mío utilizando el ultimo renglón y este fue el resultado.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR.

La primavera esta en el aire.

Well, I'm not sure, the calendar says: "spring time" but the weather says: cold and snow. Any way I think is time for pastel colors and some bunnies.  These are some of the things that I made for my home.


Bueno, no estoy muy segura, aunque el calendario marca "Primavera" el clima dice: frio y nieve. De cualquier manera creo que es el momento de sacar  los colores pastel y uno que otro conejito. Estas son algunas de las cosas que hice para decorar mi casa.

In this crown, I put some flowers and butterflies to make it more festive.

En esta corona puse unas flores y unas mariposas para que se viera más festiva.



These two garlands, are especially for Easter dinner.

Estas dos girnaldas son especiales para la cena del dia de Pascua.

This will be the welcome sign during spring.

Esta será la señal de bienvenida durante la primavera.

And in these little boxes I will hide some of the Easter eggs.

Y en estas pequeñas cajas, esconderé algunos de los huevitos de pascua.

I hope you can find some inspiration to color your spring.

Espero que encuentres algo de inspiración para iluminar tu primavera.

HAPPY VALENTINES' DAY

Feliz dia de San Valentin.

In order to celebrate this Valentines' Day, I participate in a swap in the Curse of the Crafter group. The purpose of the exchange was to modify a matchbox for this day, here is what I did.

Con el fin de celebrar este Día de San Valentín, participe en un intercambio en el grupo "Curse of the Crafter". La finalidad del intercambio fue modificar una caja de fósforos para el día de hoy, esto es lo que hice.

I made a vintage style box, I chose white chocolates and decorate to combine.



Hice mis cajitas en un estilo antiguo, escogi chocolates blancos y los decore para que combinaran.

I also include a note and I closed it with a little crochet heart and a pop up card.

Tambien inclui una nota la cual cerre con un corazón tejido y una tarjeta dimensional.

I'm so glad for the boxes received.

Estoy muy contenta con las cajas que recibi.

This is the box that I got from Jennifer Vinson, beautiful, simple and sexy.

Esta es la caja que recibi de Jennifer Vinson, hermosa, simple y sexy.

And this from Trasey Hutchinson, delicate, romantic and lovely. Trasey also include some presents, that I totally love.

LITTLE BOXES

Cajitas

Last minute project.  One of my friends called me this afternoon asking me for 30 little presents for her friends. As she saw this little boxes before, she asked me to do them for her. Here is what I made:

Proyecto de ultimo momento.  Una de mis amigas me llamo esta tarde pidiendome 30 regalitos para sus amigas, como ella habia visto estas cajitas, me pidio que se las hiciera.  Esto fue lo que hice:

I cut a piece of paper 5" x 3", then I score it each inch in both sides.

Corte una pieza de papel de 5" x 3", luego la marque cada pulgada por ambos lados.

I cut in the places you see en the next picture.

Corte en los lugares que se muestran en la foto.

I put glue and form the box.

Puse pegamento y forme la caja.

I made a fold so I can close the box.

Hice un doblez para poder cerrar la caja.

I put some candies inside.

Puse unos dulces adentro.

 I stamped some tags.

Estampe un sello en unas etiquetas.

And decorate the box with bakers twine and the tag.

Las decore con hilo y la etiqueta.

Well, I still need to some more, hope you can use this idea.

Bueno, todavia me faltan algunas, espero te sirva esta idea.

9TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS

9o Dia antes de Navidad

I was invited to a trim tree party and all the guests need to bring a handmade shabby chic ornament for the Christmas tree, so I'm going to share with you what I made.


Me invitaron a una fiesta para adornar un arbol de Navidad y cada invitada tenia que llevar un adorno navideño estilo shabby chic.  Les voy a compartir lo que hice.

 You will need:

Match box (you can see my toturial from November)
A bow
Lace
Flowers ( I made mine with the Martha Stewart Clay)
Needle and thread

Necesitaras:

Caja de cerrillos ( puedes ver mis intrucciones de Noviembre)
Un moño
Encaje
Flores (Yo hice las mias con la pasta de Martha Stewart)
Aguja e hilo

With the lace make a rossete.

Con el encaje haz un roseton.

Then glue the flowers.

Luego pega las flores.

Now glue it to the box.

Ahora pegalo a la caja.

 

I also put a little butterfly.

Tambien le puse una maripocita.



I repeat the steps for the rosette to make a pin for the hostess.

Repeti los pasos para el resoton e hice un prendedor para la anfitriona.

Then I put a bow and is ready to put it on the tree.

Luego puse un moño y esta listo para ponerse en el arbol.

5th DAY OF CHRISTMAS

5to Dia antes de Navidad

By the fifth day I made a mini villa, using a box of eye shadows,  I covered it with blue paper with white dots and white paper for the top and the base.

Para el quinto día hice una mini villa, utilizando una caja donde venian unas sombras para ojos, la cubrí con papel azul con puntos blancos en el fondo y papel blanco para el cielo y el suelo

Then I made some small houses with paper.

Luego hice unas casitas con papel.

And some trees with a punch, I cut four pieces for each, fold them in half and glue them together to gave them dimension.

Y algunos árboles con una perforadora, corte cuatro piezas para cada uno, los doble por la mitad y los pegue para darles dimensión.

And this is the result.

Y este es el resultado.
